{Bathroom Remodel}

For whatever reason, my husband always makes a big deal out of my birthday (which is perfectly awesome really).  He proposed to me the first year we met, and every year after comes up with something cool.  This year he decided to fix up our bathroom.  This is the before shot.  It's not bad but a bit outdated.

First he painted the walls a slate grey color.  Then he put an espresso colored stain on the cabinets (thank you pinterest for the $10.00 tip).  Since the whole process was now totaling $25.00 (and the bathroom is pretty small) he decided to rip out the linoleum and put tile in.

Because he's an overachiever (unlike myself) he was bent on placing the tiles diagonal which made for a few extra cuts.

He was right though, the tile really made a difference.

This is the after picture.  I love how it turned out.  It feels a lot fancier than the rest of our house.  I'm still not sure what to put on the shelves, this is what we had around the house.  What a lucky girl I am.
