Goings on

Why does it always feel like October through December fly by, then January sticks around forever.  Don't get me wrong I'm the first to admit to loving it when things are slow and predictable.  These are the days when life revolves around naps, bus stops and trips to Costco.  Here you can see the ruckus these three cause.  They insist on scaling the frozen food isle.  Sometimes I yell at them and sometimes I just let them have fun (not the most consistent parenting style).

I felt like I needed to document this.  Sacrament meeting.  It's unlikely looking back on motherhood I will forget the woes of Sacrament meeting but in case I do I will add something here.  Sacrament meeting is by far the most brutal and annoying part of my week.  I realize it's only a 80 minutes long but those are the worst 80 minutes EVER.  My kids pick this time to throw tantrums  to wrestle over who plays with what, talk too loud, cry, fidget and generally make my life a living hell.  So, yes I do just about anything to keep them quiet.  I realize it's probably my fault for allowing them to have so much screen time during the week that they don't know how to sit calmly.  I'm doing the best I can, and yes sometimes I let them plaster giant stickers all over their faces in order to keep quiet.
