{Ninny, you're killin' me}

...KaRyn and I have always shared a love for words to hate, (if that makes sense). Her latest blog post had me in tears.

all I have to say is that you are right about PUMP alie, you're so right it hurts.

That's funny, 'cause my sister has always had the aversion to the word "pack". It was so easy to annoy her. All you had to do was reference a "pack of gum," and she was on you in an instant. As a kid I wanted a word that bugged me, too, so I picked "saute" before I even knew what it meant. Now, as an adult, I realize that there really aren't any other words you can use in place of "saute", so I guess I need to pick a different word to hate. I've never liked the word "nipple", even when used in the baby bottle or pacifier context, but then, I think we all have an aversion to that word. Funny to think about.

Pump in Scotland is the same as a Knowlton bum-snore. Remember the Scottish guy I dated? When he moved to the states at age 10 he and his sisters died laughing at a hair product commercial "For beautiful curls you just Pump...Pump" We've had many discussions about cubicles.
